A Great Campaign Photo

This picture was taken on the Kennedy's campaign trek to a Chinese Lunch with Gerard Kennedy. Walking with his wife, Gerard hoists his son on his shoulders.

The Luncheon was attended by hundreds of delegates, not to mention Members of Parliament Mark Holland and Raymond Chan.

The picture says it all. Now is the time of results. Leading into the convention, polls and speculation reigned, now as practical evidence builds, it is evident Gerard Kennedy has one of the most vibrant campaigns.

That would be his son on his shoulders but you're right that is one hell of a campaign photo.

Yeah, I fixed it. Mental note, take a breath when in Convention mode. Thanks for the notice!

Like my family and most friends, I have voted Liberal for 30 years – but no more. Because of Dion's refusal to accept that the Liberal Party will never achieve power as long as he's leader (sorry, he may be effective behind the scenes, but a PM should at least have an excellent command of English), he is responsible for the Conservatives frittering away our surplus on unnecessary GST cuts, child sport tax credits, $100 child care allowance, etc. I also hold the now lame-duck Liberal opposition responsible for stupid unnecessary crime bills, Bill C-10, the current drive to turn CBC Radio Two into a Muzak station, and many more current and future neo-con “achievements.”

I do not understand why Dion is clinging on - if he loves his country, please step down as leader of the party and give it a chance. In future polls, Liberals should ask those who responded that they don’t plan to vote Liberal if they would do so in the event of change of leadership.

We would vote for Gerard Kennedy (Ignatieff is perceived to be American.

I am sending this message to all Liberal MPs and Party offices.
